Join education experts from the Center for Sustainable Development along with student educators from Columbia University's Sustainable Development Goal Student Hub to learn how you can help engage the children and young people in your life in taking fun, simple actions to address climate change, starting with increasing energy efficiency at home.
While the workshop will be facilitated online, activities will get you moving and keep you engaged while teaching key climate concepts! Activities will include:
- Learning about where our electricity comes from
- Doing a quick inventory of household energy use
- Learning about scientific definitions of "work" and "energy" by moving your body with some fun exercises!
